Programme Steering Committee

The Programme Steering Committee had the following mandate:

To review and approve the organizational structure, operational and financial management systems of the Facility.
To give policy directives to the Secretariat and approve the operational strategy for the CAGE Fund's implementation.
To review and approve global and annual work plans.
To assess proposals on studies and research works and facilitate workshops, seminars, conferences or publications when appropriate.
To review quality of final documentation submitted and give directives on the way forward including organizing platforms for workshop, seminars, debates and dialogues.
To give guidance and review feedback on the monitoring and evaluation of the core activities undertaken through the Facility.
To ensure provisions of the financing agreements in terms of output as well as sustainability factors of the Facility are fulfilled.
To approve and submit operational and financial reports [including audited statements] to the EC through the chairperson of the Steering Committee.
