Programme Steering Committee
The Programme Steering Committee had the following mandate:
  • To review and approve the organizational structure, operational and financial management systems of the Facility.
  • To give policy directives to the Secretariat and approve the operational strategy for the CAGE Fund's implementation.
  • To review and approve global and annual work plans.
  • To assess proposals on studies and research works and facilitate workshops, seminars, conferences or publications when appropriate.
  • To review quality of final documentation submitted and give directives on the way forward including organizing platforms for workshop, seminars, debates and dialogues.
  • To give guidance and review feedback on the monitoring and evaluation of the core activities undertaken through the Facility.
  • To ensure provisions of the financing agreements in terms of output as well as sustainability factors of the Facility are fulfilled.
  • To approve and submit operational and financial reports [including audited statements] to the EC through the chairperson of the Steering Committee.
